| I can't wait until the Fall semester begins.
I want to go back to KU so badly!!
It's gorgeous in the fall there...and i'll be surrounded by friends..and things to do..and ...oh goodness - it will be so great!
Stuck here working though until the summer is done....I've never been this excited for school to start before - how strange!

| I don't get it.
Everyone is going on all these fun vacations and trips and stuff.
What's up with that? Why don't I do that? ...where do they get the money?

| So my car was stolen. Not only is it enough for it to be totalled from the hail damage in Lawrence - oh no...it must be taken away from me in broad daylight while I'm working.
I leave Bed Bath & Beyond (my first REAL day working there)...at 5 pm..go out to the parking lot..and - lo and behold - no car!
Call mom..call police...call grandma..
We find another Green Honda Accord (mine's a white Honda Accord) that has been hotwired and has had the radio pulled out. The key was in the ignition...but strangely enough, the ignition had been completely torn out and was laying on the passenger seat. All four doors are unlocked..and the car is running. This is a pretty good clue that my car was definitely stolen...probably by the same guys who stole this car and dropped it off as a replacement for mine (how sweet!).
So yeah....life goes on. Dealt with policeyman...called Insurance Agency and filed a claim...for the second time this year. I tell ya - I'm gonna be a pro!
Well..that's about it. Wanna take me for a drive? I hear I'm lucky when it comes to cars... ;)
Update: talked to insurance today. the car isn't covered unless it gets in an accident. So..hopefully whoever took it will crash it, too! My goodness...I'm so sick of cars!! Oh well, buying another one shouldn't be too bad..and hopefully I can get something a little newer with less problems - and no dents! Thanks for the sympathy. :) I'll let you know if the car turns up!
UPDATE:
Car was found in Nebraska Furniture Mart employee parking lot. Another guy's Honda Accord was stolen..his name was Stephen.
So my cd player was taken out..as were about 15 of my favorite cds (I hadn't taken them out of the holder yet..which I took on my trip to Wisconsin). My roller blades (which I haven't used in over 4 years) were also taken. Gah!
Nice to have a car back..even if I do have to turn it on and off with a screwdriver...dumb ignition breaker man car stealer guy...whoever stole my car smokes, eats doritos, and eats sticks of beef jerky. mmmm!

| Soccer Dog is THE lowest budgeted movie I have EVER seen.
It's so awful, I want to make people watch it..just so we can point out the inaccuracies together. It seemed like the characters made up what they said half the time...like "here - no script..just talk for 30 seconds"..it was ridiculous.
But Leah enjoyed it..so it was worth it.
Kids are silly!
